“In our household, ordering takeout Peking duck has always been synonymous with having a dinner party. The richness of the crispy duck skin is offset by the obligatory cucumber and spring onion pieces. Everything is wrapped in a paper-thin pancake and doused in a mysteriously addictive sauce, making for the perfect bite. Nobody has ever bothered to figure out how to make it at home – the store-bought rendition is too good.”
